Our client is a family-owned architectural practice specialising in Residential Property.  They create spaces that work for their clients, including a fantastic living space, a gorgeous kitchen, a fun space for the children, comfortable bedrooms, and luxury bathrooms. They get involved every step of the way, from throwing in ideas, to designing the spaces, to formalising the designs for planning permission, to getting every detail just right, to making it happen. Their clients include homeowners, key consultants, and developers.

Job description:

We are seeking an Architectural Designer/ Revit Architectural Technician or part qualified Architect who can produce existing buildings and proposed buildings using Autodesk Revit.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working within the UK residential sector and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of UK residential design and construction.

You will be working alongside a small dynamic team, some chartered and some working towards their chartered status. The owners of the business are hands on, and you will report directly to them.  You will attend site some days, work in the office other days, and work remotely as required.

Hours can be flexible if required, and the role can cater for full time or part time. We provide working from home arrangements bespoke to the role and the individual. We have clean, modern, comfortable, clean premises and the latest technology and software.

It is essential you are and have:

  • At least 1 years’ working experience using Autodesk Revit in an architectural environment.
  • AutoCAD 2D drawing skills are a benefit.
  • Are self-initiated with design flair.
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Have good communication and time management skills.
  • Are passionate about customer satisfaction.
  • Have a car and hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Can commute to the office and projects as required.
  • Be able to work well individually as well as in a team with proven job running skills from design through to completion.
  • Have an interest in traditional and contemporary detailing (stylistically and practically).
  • Can provide a portfolio of your previous UK projects.
  • Are willing to learn and grow with the business.
