Architectural Technician / Technologist

We are currently representing an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Nottingham that is actively seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to develop their career within a well-established, talented team.

Our client specialises within the Commercial and Leisure sector so they are ideally seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist with professional experience within these sectors. Projects that the successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be involved with will be small to large scale and will go up to £30 million in value. Key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, high quality technical drawing packages, working closely with clients as well as ensure projects are completed to a high standard. The Architectural Technician / Technologist will be using Revit on a daily basis so professional experience with this software is essential.

This Architectural Practice prides themselves on the service they provide to their clients. The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be expected to have previous client facing experience as well as excellent communication skills.

Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview

• Working on a range of developments within the Commercial and Leisure sector
• Prepare and review architectural drawings
• Create high quality technical drawing packages
• Work closely with clients
• Conduct site meetings
• Use Revit on a daily basis

Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements

• Living in or around the Nottingham area
• Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Relevant Degree Qualified; minimum 2 years professional experience
• Client facing experience
• Experience within the Leisure and/or Commercial sector
• Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
• Professional experience with Revit; Essential
• Excellent communication skills

Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary (£25,000 – £40,000 DOE)
